take piece of wood, paint it black, drill some holes, and job done. I've done that many times. works for me.

I don't remember now, but are the chinese plastic segments a little bit smaller than clenports? If yes, repleace top clenport segment with chinese segment, and try to put lid on it.

@Quinch: Put the machine on a stand, secure it with bolts, then stand with your feet on the base, and try to take the lid off.

Good drill bit, slow spin and wd40 from time to time. Keep the drill bit from overheating and you can drill any lock.

Midland ones are OK, slightly more prone to jamming than Hurleys. Very marginally smaller. Exactly. I find it helpfull to load pots to the machine upside down. So far no jams this way (about 2 months). Also, sometimes, I find there is a bit less than 300 in a bag. After 12 bags I was about 50-60 fi...

I order empties from Midland. When you order some decent quantity, works out 8-9p incl. Vat & delivery. They're often short on them, but if you can wait, then there's no problem.
