I like the idea of a vending business, especially where it is not so easy to nick the stock :D but realise t...

Re: Hurleys charity boxes
Hi Paul
Yes I claim mileage allowance on my self-assessment return, the above figures are more like the actual cost of the diesel used to show actual monies coming in to the business. The mileage allowance is really just a figure to write off against tax and does not reflect cash flow.

Re: Hurleys charity boxes
I always tell the site owner that they are not responsible for losses and if the boxes are down I ask them if they can re-site it nearer to the till area or to keep an eye on it. If it is down on 3 or 4 visit then I remove box and re-site. In addition to losses you also find that around 5% of boxes ...

Just get yourself those quality sites, don't employ me or anyone else - you really can do it yourself. People do value local quality oper...

Re: Which Provider - Hurleys, Snack-a-can, tubz vending or Sweetfix
Newleaf Firstly good luck in your venture but I have one question. If you go into a site that already has a tower do you still try to leave a box? I have a site where this has happened and guess what they have sold nothing in 2 weeks so cant really see the point (the box is behind the bar) the land...
