tubz vending pot jams!!

Post by Shropvend »

Has anyone experienced recently an unusual amount of pot jams from tubz vending? I have had approx 15 jams in the last 6 weeks including one today. I realise that machinery can play a part but I often get coin jams not pot jams!!
I am wondering if there was a bad batch of pots made and curious to whether this has been going on nationally or whether its just me... :x

I believe they've just started making their own pots on site so god help us all if that's the source of a new problem with pots jamming!

tubz vending - can you respond?

You know what I'd really like: a check sheet of things to go through when the pots are jamming: what to clean and what to tighten etc. Surely their own maintenance dept has an idea?

They told me it might be something to do with the black dimpled disk and sent me some *replacements* which turned out to be 2nd hand clenport and no use at all.

Some other operators suggested various 'bodges' to fix the problem, including drilling a small plate to the front of the machine to 'lift' the coin mech slightly. That didn't work for me. Tips from tubz vending Maintenance please!
