Ripped!

So, found not 1, not 2, not 3, but 9 fakes pound coins in a machine this weekend, bloody 'baskets'!

For fakes they are by all intentions not bad, so that got me thinking, these coins have been made in a mould!

So me thinks, could they not do that with the new pound coin?

Of course they could, and the machinery we use is so basic, I guess they will work a treat!

So what is the point to the change?

I guess the BOE is fed up with the amount of fakes in circulation - nerds!

Hence having to change the coin to buy more time. Give it another 10/20 years it will change again

Went back to my ripped site today, it has three machines, so went back so that I can get it stocked ready for Xmas.

Found 15 fake coins, would not mind but they have security cameras and guards, usually leave several tubs for the guards - but told them not today as I had been ripped off.

I offer 20% commission on these machines! me thinks next time I shall not take the hit so readily.

Is it trolley coins your getting?

I do get trolley coins and to be honest do not really have a great problem with those!

They are forged pound coins, probably lead material as they are soft, and stamps as pound coins and unbelievably, painted gold.

Oh, they dont sound great. So you cant re-use them. Ive had similar before but found the problem went after a couple of months. They are great for taking the kids out to the big chain pubs that wont allow your machines in cos they use national operators. Everyone else in the pub thinks my kids are spoilt with the amount of sweets and toys I buy them from the vending machines.

I would never advocate using fake coins, it is an instant free ticket to the nearest jail.

Only the scum of the earth use these items, trouble is they invariably get away with it.
