Well joined the lost tower club this week, a pub has closed with no indication after putting a tower in last month - it has closed down. Will investigate next week, but guess it has long gone!
Who else is a member of this club and what type of site was it - by disclosing it will provide operators with an indication as to the sites most likely to close.
Would not wish a lost tower on anyone, as this has cost me approx £240.
Happy munching!

Hi Style,
That is heavy tower losses!
Over how many years is this?
I am assuming you must have a large round in excess of 100, otherwise it would bring anyone to the brink!

I lose about 5 towers every year. Mainly and increasingly pubs.. Also 2 tattoo. Parlours last year
Luckily I have just bought 20 towers @ £25 each so I accept it as an occupational hazard

Re: Disappearing Tower!
We started 6/7 years ago, around 100 till 2 years ago, then 200 for a year or so, now too many!!!! (Had to work all day today and thats not right on a weekend)
Losing towers or finding them smashed is unfortunately part of the business. It generally has only happened in new sites or sites that are closing down. Best not to buy new if you can help it and make sure you use your crap towers in the high risk sites. (I bought a load of old black plastic clemport towers for £40 each. They work great but dont look nice and shiny, I use these in the dodgy places.
Wow Dusty, thats cheap!

Re: Disappearing Tower!
Yes I was embarrassed. Tried to find somebody else to buy them at £40 but no takers. Did not want them really but offered £500 if he was desperate!! He was!

Re: Disappearing Tower!
I had 2 towers and 1 went missing with the landlord for a pub, pain really as it was a cleanport.
I didn't have it chained, do you find if you have them chained they are less likely to get robbed?
Also had a washroom machine go missing when a pub it was in was converted into a supermarket.
