Re: Desperate for Help please
Did tubz vending give you an acceptable figure for sales per week?

Re: Desperate for Help please
Barbara And part time operator are spot on. You have to site a machine and try before dismissing as any site can surprise you.
Barbara found me a site at a sand and ballast yard and the machine is in a portacabin. When I turned up to install I was not happy but thought I would give it a go . This site turns over in excess of 100 tubs a month. On paper you would think it would be rubbish but in reality it's a blinding site.

Re: Desperate for Help please
Hi Wendy,
Thanks for the information that I requested.
I have to agree whole-heartedly with what has been indicated by other operators - although that is probably not what you want to hear.
The ruling is usually, we site, if tower is in a location less than a month, the site finder will usually find you another site.
I know and deal with Paul Somerset and have always found him to be very genuine and willing to listen to any problems that occur and, indeed, provide solutions.
As previously suggested by others, the industry is not for the feint-hearted and at times can be a hard slog - albeit, a rewarding one if you can stick at it.
Now the good news, Barbara provided you with her telephone number. Barbara will read this post, so therefore, to try and help out and give you a little lift, Barbara can find you a site at my expense - perhaps others will follow suit who know's.
We are here to help others, but we have to recognise that there are always two sides to a coin - and with that in mind it looks to me as if tubz vending have carried out their responsibility fully.
Keep your chin up and good luck.
Pablo.

You mean all the sites I get don't do at least 100 sales per month!
Thanks for sharing that one, always good to hear about the supa-dupa sites.

Re: Desperate for Help please
Hi wendy,
As someone who isnt tubz vending biggest fan Im afraid to say these guys are right. it looks like they have got you a half decent mix of sites. Unfortunately some do turn out rubbish and its hard to tell. I have garages in the middle of nowhere with 1 or 2 members of staff doing £40-50 per month but at the same time I have removed towers from staff rooms where there are £50 plus staff because they dont sell anything.
I tend to work on the basis that for every 3 I put in I will need to remove 1.
Where they probably have misled you is the averages you can expect, I know the tubz vending website has a chart indicating £10, £20 and even £30 pw. The real figures wont be that high. If you are looking at sticking to the 10 towers you should be able to find 10 good sites giving you maybe £40 per month each, but if you are looking to grow beyond that then your averages will come down. (just dont visit so often).
The best sites you get tend to be the ones you get yourself as you know the area best, so your other option is to get round your local clubs and pubs offering your services.
Good luck.
Andy

Re: Desperate for Help please
Hi Wendy
Bit of an obvious tip but even if a site is performing poorly if you don't have another site lined up leave it where it is until you do, I have some very poor sites but every so often they surprise you....... For example I have one in a really quite mens club and it does bugger all normally but this weekend they had a christening on and sold the machine out completley

Re: Desperate for Help please
Pablo. I am truly sorry I totally missed your offer of Barbara siting a machine at your expense. I am such an idiot. I
How very rude of me. I really am truly sorry for that. Thank you very much. That is a great help.
I think I must be overworked and just loosing with this tubz vending franchise.
It has been since February having up's and down's involving the siting and machines.
I do really need this to work. I would also like to buy more and more machines if it works out. So I need to be quiet and just listen to the help and Advice given to me. I am very grateful for such amazing help and care.
I hope you will forgive me.
Thank you again.
Kindest regards Wendyxx

Re: Desperate for Help please
Hello Andy. Thank you very much for your help and advice. It has really helped.
I hope the machines do okay once they are all sited.
I know they are not going to make me a millionaire, but just to get some stability with them would be great, then I can buy some more.
I appreciate your help thank you very much
kindest regards Wendyxc
