Are we going to have a problem with this?

Is this getting out of hand?

Is it going to happen?

is our profit margin going to get smaller?

The last I heard about it on the news a few weeks ago was that Cameron wasn't in favour of it as it disproportionately affects low income families and is, in effect, another tax on the poor.

I wouldn't rule it out altogether at some point in the future but in the current political climate I think it's low on the Tories priority list and they are wary of being seen to be constantly bashing people who are less well off, hence the U-turn on tax credits.

some companies, mostly restaurants are adding a whopping 10p to all sugar drinks and 'giving' the money to charity. One chain stated they had seen a 3% reduction in sugar drink sales but an increase in bottled water
