So instead of constantly buying equipment with "anything is better than nothing" approach to earnings you can make the most out of what you've already got. Everyone has their own approach and different budgets to invest, if you've got more money you might not care about return on investment, or if you're like Mark@Yorvend you just want to leave all your machines in crappy sites to frustrate other would-be operators

I've got a load of tatty old black machines that look pretty crappy in most of the sites, I usually swap these over when I know the site is a bit crap. Stops others even getting a foothold in the area with the bad sites

I know what you mean with doing your own sitefinding though, it would be much better to find your own sites in places where you know they will do well. I'm just trying to work up sufficient enthusiasm to give it a go!

I got half my money back off Diane, which was not expected!
Maybe a threat of small claims court did the trick, but fair play to her for seeing the sense in a compromise?
As I stated in a previous post, I would NEVER AGAIN pay upfront for site finding no matter what I was promised!

Good to hear you got a result Nigel. The otherside of the coin is of course, finding sites, then the site findef, not getting paid for the service. Dave from Happy Vend, who does my site finding, tells me of on many occasions he finds site for members and doesn't get paid for it, being fobbed off with a vague response of 'didn't want the machines etc. but no details.
