Otherwise in the main, you will only get posts by newbies asking questions with the majority (not all) just ignoring them as the answers are available if the search!

Going back to the original post

In the last 12 months, just finished doing my accounts for accountant, I have bought

1. 9 x towers/stands/sites.....
2. 30 x towers/stands/sites.....
3. 10 x towers/stands ......

I asked the individuals concerned the reason they had decided to sell!

Same answers always:

A. Did not research enough the business concepts
B. Unrealistic expectations on how much can be earned
C. Disappointing site finding
D. Geographically location of sites meant excessive costs against returns
E. broken promises

We paid what was asked for for said machines and had to ask the seller to increase the cost as it was silly prices, one said no just pay x.....

So the original post stands buyer beware before embarking on something with the correct research.

Our portfolio is now pretty healthy in the size of business we have. And we are still expanding, but hey, stop buying expensive items and selling them on for peanuts.

Hi Pablo

Nothing has changed in 30 years that I can see with people coming into the vending business and drifting out, it's always been that way and we ourselves, as others have and do, pick up old rounds, reconditioned machines etc from operators for whom to be honest the business was not suited to them or they just lost enthusiasm. This happens in all types of businesses and I am sure will carry on for ever more. There will always be a churn.

People wont pay is the answer, there is a subscription to have a signature with no uptake. I need to do an update to the forum but its just finding time to be honest. It doesn't cost me much but it does wonders for backlinks on my own webpages with my signature link.

It did used to generate a tidy little sum but it needs some more work to bring more up to date.
Regards Matt

Hi Pablo,

Caveat emptor! I don't understand. Please translate! My Spanish is a bit rusty these days.
