Hi,
I am just looking at a tub of Toblerone, it contains three items!

They are the small variety!

So I am asking how are the sales for you on the new toblerone's with the three items as I will not know for a month or so as we have only just got 6 boxes of these as part of our monthly order.

I was unhappy when they changed the three bigger toblerones for the 4 x small toblerones last year as it was a reduction by a fair margin. It was one of my best sellers however, it has been hit and miss all year. Now I am starting to think along the lines that perhaps I shall not order any more.

Sure the price per box reduced slightly however, nowhere near the 25% reduction of contents if you know what I mean. I would much prefer the cost per box to have risen and I would have just ordered less whilst still satisfying customers.

What are your thoughts?

Cheers

Pablo

Where are they from Pablo. My last order from Hurleys had 4 in the pots. I wont be ordering them with 3.

Hi, Style,
Not from Hurleys however, if you look at their site they indicate that they are now three, I could be wrong.

Three in a tub is wrong way to go, would have been happy if a price increase had been the case, three means I may have people peeved and as a consequence lose repeat business.

I did away with pastille due to the short life dates, was always losing stock as scrap, same with the white buttons treats. This maybe be the third item to be lost as a choice for customers- does not make sense so having to think about a replacement choc etc.

Hi Andy,
I doubt I shall be purchasing anymore 81m sweet towers as I have about 50 spare, we are just finishing the remnants of our coin change exercise, this weekend should see us done. Our next phase is to look at our sites to see what sites we are prepared to lose due to poor sales, then have a bank of twenty good machines to be used for tower swaps as this is a quicker method for us rather than filling machines at customers premises. We are pushing these days for Pringle machines as at least these are a little bit more resilient for selling different items due to pot size etc.

Cheers

Anyone using the new toblerones x 3?
If so, what are the sales like?

Cheers
