Re: The end of cigerette vending
Hi there. We have a range of nuts through Salysol that are the same size as cigarettes and can go through all cigarette machines. Cashews, Pistachios, Choc Peanuts, Bubble Gum, Almonds and Cocktail Nuts available at the mo. Cheers, Paul.

Re: The end of cigerette vending
hurleys do a conversion kit for the fag machines to convert them to sweets but i dont like the idea as we got towers to vend sweets. from what i hear they are being banned from public view and use so a landlord could put it behind the bar maybe? temporary tattoos might work in the packs, condoms would work to.

Re: The end of cigerette vending
i just cant see sinclair collis surviving;
this was from late last year;
Kevin Pascall, managing director of Wolverhampton-based Sinclair Collis, which employs around 150 staff said: “The previous Government has effectively handed us a notice of redundancy.
“All of the people who have trained in vending machines will be redundant as their skills will have been made redundant by the previous Government.
“No one has given us a solution as to what to do with the vending machines when the ban comes into force. No compensation has been offered to those affected by the vending machine ban.
“Our business was severely affected by the introduction of the public smoking ban as a lot of sites such as pubs had their vending machines taken out. A third of our vending machines have been taken out by sites since the ban.
“This proposed vending ban is a draconian approach and will result in the loss of hundreds of jobs in the industry.

This is going to knock my cashflow quite a bit, the statement about no compensation just about sums things up, another kick in the teeth for the pubs and the vending operators

Re: The end of cigerette vending
May just keep them onsite.
Be interested to know who is going to inforce this ban, and what powers they have?
Probably the council?
