Re: Minstrels
To be fair to them they did offer to credit me for the minstrels or swap for other stock.

Re: Minstrels
So what is the general consensus? Apparently they are back to normal now so I ordered 2 boxes and hope for the best. did you guys continue selling the spoilt ones even though they looked dodgey? I was removing the worst looking ones.

Re: Minstrels
I left them at first then regretted it, as minstrel sales almost stopped. Now in the process of removing all faded ones. Hurleys have said that they will replace them when I know the true amount. I did have a shock the other day when a tower with 06/13 minstrels was fading a little, so I am being cautious.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Minstrels
I had a delivery from tubz vending a few weeks ago for 03/13 sell date and they are starting to fade. Anyone else had the same problem? This can be alarming as it gives the impression we sell sweets that are off. Thought this was just a temporary problem but seems to be on going.

Re: Minstrels
Hi Lee,
Suppliers often put differing use by dates, so the faulty ones may not all be 03/13. Mine were 05/13 from Hurleys. I now have concerns about the 06/13 ones I have too. Hurleys have said that Mars have rectified the problem now.

Re: Minstrels
Hi,
It looks like the 06/13 ones I bought from Hurleys is also turning mottled and pale. Have been on 3 call outs in last few days and had to remove them and have no others only 6/13 to put in, so am concerned. I have contacted Hurleys and Paul has agreeed to credit me for the ones I cant sell. Does anyone know if Mars, or the bulk supplier wants them returning before a credit is given and if so at who's expense.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Minstrels
Has anyone tried the pebbles from Hancocks next to Minstrels, or instead of? Also, do suppliers pack these.
Thanks,
Paul
