Strange one
bit of a strange one this .... i have 2 tomy gacha one is situated in a busy terminal ... i went to empy it last week and found a new pound coin inside so i thought oh ok someone must of forced one in. Went to empty last night and had 3 of them even though ive not changed the mechs so i tested it myself and put the coin in and it turned with no effort .. not that im complaining as i wont need to pay for new ones yet but just found it strange that its accepting them

Re: Strange one
Yes many Tomy mechs, Metal and Plastic cased, will accept new coins in certain rotational positions without any conversion However I'm yet to come across one that accepts them 100% of the time without converting them

Re: Strange one
It seems do depend on how worn they are. My really old ones work great, the newer ones all needed converting.

Re: Strange one
There is basically two positions the new pound coin can be presented, flat side up or pointed side up. As long as the mech can handle both of these positions it'll work fine.
