kris@tubzbrandsltd wrote:Just to back us up as to why we don't offer credit... Is because all companies that offer credit need to get it insured. Also if you pay by credit card it gives you 30 credit. So can't see what the point is asking a customer for a large amount of stock for few machines as stock will be sitting there running out of date.
First you're clarifying why you don't offer credit and then you're clarifying that you do offer credit.kris@tubzbrandsltd wrote:Chaps i think once again my post has been taken differently to what i had intended. I was making the post as people had asked if tubz vending were offering the same credit situation.
I have since checked with the powers that be and we do in fact have a facility set-up to offer customers 30 days credit if we can gain a credit facility and insurance after credit checks. As im sure you can appreciate in the current climate it would not make financial sense to offer people / companies credit without making sure the above is in place otherwise any business would be putting everything at risk which would be at the detriment to all their other customers. Most of our corporate accounts are using this facility.
It is also worth pointing out that whenever a customer pays with a credit card the suppler is in fact being charged a much higher % than if paid with a debit card.
Happy vending
And you only offer credit if YOU can get a credit facility off someone else,so you're not extending any service off your own back.
You say your corporate accounts don't pay COD, so it's your cash on the nail operators who are keeping your company solvent. Yet you give them the worst customer service of all the suppliers.
And this B/**** that we are only posting this because some of our customers asked about it, is the same reason you give for everything you post.
You guys are always defending your position and making excuses. Good service providers don't need to do this.
Go and do a customer service course, and stop being so condescending and arrogant to your customers. Either that or get another member of staff to take over here. John would be a good place to start.

Hello Noel,
The company are only gaining insurance on the account, the facility is still funded by the company. It is standard practice nowadays in business to insure credit insurance is in place for any credit accounts offered as all our suppliers do with us.
You can’t even get a mobile phone contract nowadays without having a credit check. If you have a bad credit history then the only option is pay as you go!

What the heck has mobile phones got to do with it. Like i said , put the same effort into attack (customer service ) as you do into defence and you would be onto a winner.

Also you dont need a credit license if your dealing with Ltd companies.
And stop editing your posts to make what you wrote look better . As Noel said and I said, concentrate on focusing what you can do instead of hijacking other suppliers threads telling why you cant do something.

I never intended for this thread to end up this way, Hurleys must be laughing and considering expansion given the input from tubz vending

Hi Noel. I'm no fan of tubz vending as you all know, but to be fair to kris i think the mobile phone post was just trying to make a point. Kind Regards Al.Vendingwarehouse wrote:What the heck has mobile phones got to do with it. Re: Credit where credit is due
hate to stir up trouble but hey ho . Shouldnt the issue here be more about hurleys improving their packaging/ delivery couriers? Seems a bit much that you have to order half pallet to ensure goods are received in acceptable condition? Or do tubz vending and sweetfix suffer the same damage rate when sending smaller orders?

Couriers can vary greatly, also depending on geography may be 3 to 4 people who are in courier chain. Not everyone may treat your stock like a box of glasses.
