Faulty Train coin mech

Post by pandaanda »

Hi i have got an old 20p train ride that when you put the coin in it just gets stuck everytime and you have to eject it, i can see whats happening is as soon as the coin is put in it just tilts over and gets stuck on the side instead of rolling down the chute.
I dont know anything about rides , anyone got any ideas ?

is the chute lined up properly so it sits with about 5 mm gap above mech, if you drop the coins in the mech from inside do they register correctly? if they do then its just a chute alignment needed if they dont then send the mech to coin solutions for service. Hope this helps
