Kiddie Ride - looking for safety plate

Post by birdy59 »

Hi,

This is my first post on the forum. I am renovating an old muffin the mule kiddie ride and I am struggling with a few things.

1. I am trying to get hold of a safety plate that should go below the coin mech similar to this.

Image

2. I have no idea how to collect the coins. The coins just drop out of the bottom of the coin chute. What should be at the bottom similar to this ride.

3. I have a very old timer that I think I can get to work ok. Would this type of ride have had sound and if it would what sort of device would it have been and can I get one anywhere?

Thanks,
Mick

Is that the actual ride ? Picture 2 the hole locks like a hole for a cam lock which would hold in place a collection tray for coins

Would say a collection tray should sit inside the post then , with some sort of cam lock

Nigel Flint vending may be able to help more or point you in the right direction , I know he likes old machines

my god heres a blast from the past, the coin chute as matt said requires a plate and a pin went through holding it in place with a padlock, you will be hard pushed getting any parts for this ride due to how old it is, if anyone has the parts it will be jolly roger in skegness
