Sorry don't have a light. The lights are only small striplights stuck with sticky pads. I have motors and circuit boards.

Machines without the flou lighting look bad and hurt sales.
if one goes in my estate I either replace it with the coorect T4 tube or, if it is one of those odd sizes no longer avalible which is a common problem with machines made outside the EU, strip out the whole fitting and replace.
I use the Kitchen worktop type that fit under the top kitchen units as they are cheap and readily avaliable from any DIY store.
IMO Electric machines without the Flou lighting can look turned off and takings suffer because of this.
It is false econmy not to replace them.

Fair point Nigel, I agree that it wiuld look better but have no idea what sort of bulb/fitting to put in, added to that I presume its not 240 volts?

All Flou lighting in these machines is 240v.
Just find where the mains lead comes into machine and follow it to first break normally for transformer or fuse box and wire in the two wires for the strip light AFTER the fuse box (live and neutral).
Easy job once you have done it once, if your not sure , try it and have an electrician look it over before you turn it on again.
