Its a cordless heat gun that lifts stickers off in seconds and is small enough to carry around. The e-bay link is obviously not working, but the product number, which you place in the e-bay search bar is 350652808724.

I have tried several types of liquids with varying success but a constant problem is that even if the sticker comes off ok the glue underneath is loosened up, spread about, difficult to get off completely and also makes a mess of the machine. If a cordless heat gun avoids all that then it sounds like it's worth buying.

Tower vend product labels: sticky stuff remover vs heat gun

Post by alexlg »

Hi - I know this is an old thread but is there anyone listening?
How does the heat gun work with the Hurleys stickers? tubz vending stickers are a breeze: peel them off with your nails (easy, in one piece, unless its chocolate footballs) then spray Sticky Stuff Remover Gel on the remaining label glue and give it 6+ mins. Wipe with a wet-one (I buy Dettol 72's when on offer for £1 or £1.50) then repeat if necessary.
Hurleys stickers have me stumped. They're paper-based so rapidly get dog-eared. But they're a bu@@er to peel off and I don't carry hot soapy water with me. Wouldn't a heat gun just burn paper-based labels? Perhaps I should seriously consider carrying a thermos of hot soapy water?

I never did get round to buying the heat gun recommended in this thread. I like to get things sorted 'on site' wherever possible and wasn't sure about brandishing a naked flame in public!
