I've got a box full of assorted tubz vending stock that has come out of machines I've bought, I have tried on a couple of occasions leaving stuff like Rip-ems and Bon Bons in, but they don't seem to sell very quickly!
Also got a mixed box of cola bottles and jelly babies, can't seem to get these sold either. I did consider putting them on E-bay, but with the price of postage it wouldn't be worth it.
Probably just give the stuff away!!

Mark if you're giving it away i'll have it.... ;) i still do bonbons, tutti frutti, fizzy cola u just got to find the right sites for them. i've still got a handful of places that munch through 2 lines of chocolate raisins and they're impossible to shift in many of my sites.

Hi MIke,
If you want me to get you a quote for postage (not defenda couriers) your quite welcome to them, there must be about 160-170 assorted tubs in total.

Never tried chocolate rasins, are they worth trying in places with lots of old folk, like WMC's?

Correction - 29p total when I self-pack Starburst x14 @ 70p/192g bag from Tescos, including the pot. Might as well be accurate.

I decided to start self packing starburst now after reading previous posts.
Cleared out 8 different tesco over the last week.

Also checked in Hancocks and they work out at 77p inc vat for 150g bags.so can always get a constant supply.
Surprised that Hurleys/tubz vending never thought about doing these as are a big branded product.

I am putting 12 in a pot as looks quite full.

That sounds like a lot for self packing to me. I dont think its worth the hassle. For me to self pack I want it to come in around 25p per pot.

77p/150g is quite a bit more than 70p/192g (current Tescos offer). Not sure I would have bought up so much without testing it out first but I'm sure you'll shift them all eventually! 12 in a pot probably enough but I wouldn't go less. Must be about 26p all-in, if you can get the 70p/192g bags.

I believe Hurleys do Starburst them in another format (bagged, for Childline boxes) so probably wouldn't be much for them to start offering them in pots.

Bought some blackjack and fruit salad in Makros at the weekend - looks quite good.

I reckon my self-packing days are over. Turns out I was being (mistakenly!) under-charged for the pots. The cheapest I can get them now is 10p per pot (delivered, inc vat) from another supplier, as long as I place a stock order at the same time.

12p delivered, elsewhere.

Maybe its just as well.
