get a grip son ffs, this is business at the end of the day,if you put your energies into work instead of crying on here then you would be much better off..

like it or lump it i would defo pout one of my machines in a pub right next to yours if i were still doing it,its the landlords choice and i would be giving him 20% instead of the silly amount or 5%

man up ffs and if you feel this strongly about it have a word with the other op in the pub.. some ppl make me laugh, you are one of them, you mst have spent 3 hrs on this thread when you could have been out finding new sites...

think what you want ppl but i will site a machine next to Snack A Can all day and every day,not the other as they offer a 20 or even 30% comm to the owner.

if its too hot in the kitchen mate get out.....

dont make me laugh about your pr carp, i bet you were on a rght nice package doing it,well most on here dont get a wage and they have to find it themselves..

survival of the fittest, welcome to the real world...

i site find for quite a few on here and unless they tell me not to poach which most do then i will with Snack A Can .......end of

look forward to your reply
The fact Snack A Can didn't work for you doesn't mean that It wouldn't or doesn't work for me. I think a lot about this business is about common sense and co-operation with competing vending operators in your area. obviously I am in the minority here where that is concerned. and Nestle have been made aware about the misrepresentation.
Good post Jimmy.

I agree with you entirely, the Snack A Can business model is not for everyone (myself included) but a few ppl obviously have what it takes to make it work and for that you deserve some credit!

I have good co operation with competing venders in my area and you can ask them as they are on here (chrisgibbs) and (clarekibb) so you are not in the minority??
You are in the Majority, Jimmy.

As for the "Nestle misrepresentation" that is your choice to take whatever action you see fit!

Pls bear in mind though, that it may backfire on Snack A Can as a Giant like Nestle would probably not distiguish between different mini can suppliers.
They would view the whole mini can industry as "rotten" (not too far from the truth there, then :silent: ) and stop all of them packing there products!
If you dont beliieve me just look what threats Haribos Laywers issued to tubz vending and Hurleys and they warnt both at fault , were they???

You keep on saying "you dont want your Business going down the Toilet".

May I suggest to anyone that is thinking of informing Nestle of the low morals and underhand tactics that we all know go on with some suppliers, may well stir up a hornets nest that could very well help all our businesses come a little closer to going "down the Toilet"

I completely agree with eveything there, But: things must be pretty desperate to actively phone prospective sites and misrepresent yourself as another company, that does not do anyone any favours.. I have said before and will say again : I have a pretty good relationship with all my sites, but it is one thing putting a machine right next to mine, which is fine, I would have to live with that. But it's a completely different ball game when the operator leaves the publican with the impression that both belong to me! It doesn't matter what he said when he installed it - what matters is the site owners understanding that he's been left with, because when I went in a couple of weeks ago he was outside having a fag and said to me "your other machine has arrived!!" EH? what?? I know what has to be done, I have already been told by the publican and the Pubs customers we prefer the quality not the S**T!! lol

He received a phone call yesterday from someone claiming to be from Nestle who told him Nestle were getting involved in Tower Vending and to get rid of the Snack A Can Machine which only gives 5% to Charity- Take ours and we'll give you 20% Commission which you can give to charity or keep it yourself.
here it is Jimmy, can you explain your conflicting posts to us all??

You appear to be talking in riddles?

Has your account been hijacked?
Maybe you should ask the mods to check your ip address to see if someone else is logging into your account and making posts that conflict with your version of events?

Thats why you've decided to move away from their model by paying site commission?
You could have done the same but cheaper by buying Clenport machines and without paying an annual fee.

Jimmy, I said it before and I say it again. You are too emotional to be self employed. You informed Nestle about the spin, well that is going to bring a ton of sh*t down on the tower vending industry. You , who can withstand pressure on a nuclear level according to yourself. chucked your toys out of the cot and picked up the phone. Thereby being instrumental in bringing your own company closer to failure. My father used to say, " when your hands in the lions mouth , take it out as handy as you can". You just tried to choke the lion and will get swallowed up in the next bite.

Lots of companies use dodgy practices when doing telesales , some of the biggest and most successful companies in the world do it. Duncan Bannatyne filled his first nursing home with his mothers bingo friends the day the bank was coming round for a look cos he had no residents. Hence the bank rolled the loan out to him.. Do you think his competitors thought him a d*ck????? No it was truly genius and look at him now. GET A GRIP MY MAN . Oh and thanks for the E-mail.

Just thought it fair that everyone should get a look at the e-mail.

Noel;
thats it I've had it!
I'm not going to come on the forum again. I know I have said it i the past but now it's going too far.
I thought it would be somewhere where I could get an unbiased opinion now I'm being told I'm making conflicting posts.

Concerning the current thread:

I originally said I had no competitors in my area, true I didn't, until last month a tubz vending operator is now travelling further north from Edinburgh
nothing wrong with that, I know I don't have sole rights to central Scotland, and I'm not scared or anything, but I don't need to be arrogantly told that.
I just think he and I would both make more money in pubs where I'm not already sited, thats plain common sense.
the misrepresentation of Nestle calls, is just ridiculous and illegal, and I believe the amatures on the forum who are defending this will soon realise
whats going on, as like in the past a certain supplier is going to go bust again when this bites them on the ****.

I think some of the people on there are very arrogant and one individual in particular an ex Snack A Can operator is continually attacking me,
comments about 5% commission payments etc... but he fails to remove his charity stickers from his own machines, but keeps the machines on site and not paying the Charity commission. You will ask yourself How do I know that? You know how I know that! but I can't and won't say that in the forum

And for the record, I don't know how he know's about the charity stickers. That's why I posted the e-mail, so no-one thinks that I am in cahoots with him or that I am bad mouthing any people that are on this forum. Who does he mean anyway??????
