Expanding
What would people recommend, as the best way to expand your business (and possibly the cheapest).
I think i am getting there with things, but obvs the budget doesn't allow sometimes to buy the machines i would like. As even sweet towers, cost around the £120(ish) mark, so its not like i can go and buy a load more.
What did other more 'experienced' operators do when they were first starting out?

I've started expanding into toys, picking up bulks £30 inc stand and converting alot of them to take bouncy balls, gumballs, mixed toy capsules and they are flying out at the moment, you get your investment back after 1 empty.
also sweet towers U can pick up for £75 inc a stand.
Regards
Rich.

I borrowed against my mortgage.....have an incredible deal which is base rate plus 0.29%. Pretty much free money! Even at at 4k borrowed only paying £30 a month roughly servicing the debt....chipping away at total debt each month.....

That's a bloody good deal Gav!
But i won't get into debt, i know some people may think that narrow minded or a slightly defensive approach, but debt's not for me.

Re: Expanding
I run a couple of big vending machines of which the profit then funds the purchase of towers. Been going for a year, still small but 30+ towers now. Not seeing a penny out of it though yet, more of a long term investment. My other half doesn't always see it though with the amount of time I spend on it!!!

Steve,
What kind of bigger machines do your operate.
I started in November, and have just over 20 machines, between towers, pringles and a few bulks.

Re: Expanding
I have a snack machine (Polyvend) and a can veding machine at one site and a Combi Seaga (drinks and crisps/snacks) at another site, both sites also have Pringles tower and sweet tower too but takings not good on them
If I could find more sites for large vendors I would not hesitate in reinvesting in machines, they return a very good profit, also the more machines the quicker the turnaround of stock. I have to buy very carefully at the mo to ensure nothing goes out of date
