Site types
Hi all,
I use the Hurleys site finder and have had some really good sites from her. The trouble is, I have most, if not all the good sites in my area. I dont want to expand into other postcodes because I am not well and have to have another operation soon. Most of my sites are pubs, but wondered if you have any other site types, other than the Snack A Can type of site, which I am not too keen on. We have tried playbarns and fun houses, but they all have their own machines, so I am trying to think outside the box so to speak.
Any help will be welcome.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Site types
Sports clubs and social clubs are our best sites. Also have you tried adding extra machines in toys, tattoos, pringles. You cab collect three times as much on one visit.

HI Styel,
I agree social clubs are excellent for me, but just a quick question, do you find tatto machines worth it? Surley the outlay for the machine and cost of tattoos make it prohibitive to actually making a good profit, or even if you do it will take you a very long time to gain back the investment?

Re: Site types
Martial arts clubs also good.
Full of kids after school and almost always stuck on an industrial site with no shops nearby.
I have about half a dozen of these and ALL take good money and were easy to get towers into!

Hi Paul,
Glad to see that your looking at expanding mate, I find horse equestrian riding stables really good reliable sites along with all the sites mentioned above. Hotels can also be good as long as they are the big ones
I have given up on the toy vending as I bought a load of machines to site in my current sites, worked my ass off persuading the landlords to put one in which managed to in about 5 of my pubs. All took good money but all of them have asked me to remove the machines for no reason at all so a lot of money and effort for nothing which is very dissapointing
Cheers
Ross

Re: Site types
Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
Hi Ross,
I am not expanding as such, I just want to keep the machines I have sited, until my health improves.
I agree about the toy machines. I have 2 now. I did have more, but the same thing happened to me, the landlords want them out. I think parents get a bit upset when you put lots of machines in, as they dont want to take the kids to a pub for any other reason but to save money on a babysitter. Vending machines cost money, which the parents want to spend on booze.
Cheers,
Paul

Re: Site types
I think its about having the right toy machines, single tomys do really well because they will hide in the corner of any pub. If its a bit bigger then Bouly's. We only have 1 tattoo machine, had it about 2 months, vends at 50p, 10p to veunue, 10p to buy the tattoo so a good 60% profit.
