Pringles labelling
Hi all,
I would be grateful to know if any of you use labels on your pringles machines and if so, where you get them from. I use my tower labels to indicate when I have a slow line, by putting little dots on, or a small tick if all 9 have gone. I can then either change a line, or double up if it happenes again etc. I cant do this with my Pringles as they dont have stickers.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul
I have a spreadsheet with about 8/10 spaces for each time I top up, I then record what has gone and show total sales commission and whats left etc. Happy to email a copy if that helps?
I can just look back and see what has/has not sold and double up accordingly
Regards

Re: Pringles labelling
Hi Steve,
Thanks, but I prefer simple. I operate spreadsheets for my accounts and used to have them for sales, but stopped them a while back. My system for towers works great, so If I cant get Pringles stickers, I will print my own.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Pringles labelling
I don't use stickers or spreadsheets. Just put a palm sized card with contents in the cash box, done, saves me time.

Re: Pringles labelling
The simple idaes always work best in vending.
You just cant get round and make as much money if you are faffing about writing everything down.
I think also think Petes system with the cards in the cashbox is great, old school, yes!
But then so am I lol

Re: Pringles labelling
Ok but on the flipside without writing stuff down you have no stock control and if a site states they are owed some cash (which happens occasionally) you have no idea either way. OK if you are counting pots then you could write down which ones have gone??

Re: Pringles labelling
Hi Steve,
I think this is only suitable for deciding if a line is not selling, or is selling out each time you go. With Pringles machines not usually having stickers, it is difficult to mark a line that is not selling, resulting in stock going out of date. I mark my stickers on the sweet towers with a dot if a line is not selling and a tick if if all 9 go. Then either double up, or remove as is required. All sales are on the receipt pad, so any stock control is worked out from that.
Why would sites state that they are owed cash. Do you issue a receipt for the commissions, or have another system.

Re: Pringles labelling
Your right about Pringles......................................I am an idiot
I occasionally get the site saying that someone has put money in but nothing comes out, when I check the money is over by a pound or two. I can only put it down to not getting the selection lined up. One site is a bugger for it (lots of little kids) but I only pay out if over. I have to say that on most rounds I am always a few pounds up for one reason or another, does anyone else find that?

Re: Pringles labelling
Hi Steve,
I get this too. Mostly it is because I introduce 20p's when giving commission. If a commission payment is 4.60, then an extra 040p goes into the money bag. If this occurrs regularly, it can mount up. You do get extra coins when the machines misvend, but dont jam up, or when a kid is turning the product tube, whilst another is putting a coin in. Another possibility is an empty line. Kids just see the sticker and miss the fact that the line is empty.
Cheers,
Paul
