Maybe you don't understand............

It's a tubz vending Machine which has showed up in an existing Snack A Can site!!

I am a Snack A Can Franchisee, who currently has a number of machines on Site Commission Not Charity.

I have never nor will I ever in the future put one of my machines into a site which already has a competitors machine, whether it be tubz vending, Hurleys or whatever, If I go into a site and there is already one I will walk straight back out. Where I am there are enough sites for two franchisees to co-exist. Why put a tubz vending machine right next my my machine which has already been on site for TWO YEARS!!!!!!

So your sentence should read:
Real bad practice but you wouldn't expect anything less from tubz vending.

yep, agree with Noel, maybe jon misread the comment which is quite comment mixing names up. tubz vending Snack A Can etc.

Its annoying but quite common practice with all suppliers over here mate, you may have been lucky not to have had any competitiors up till now. As said before for the suppliers its just business, for the operators its not very nice.

I have been lucky OK - Agreed, but if a competitor comes in to a town, in this case Perth of all the sites, Pubs Sports Centres, Etc that he could have why put his machine right next to mine?? It doesn't make sense!!!!!!!!

But why should I remove mine? I have been there for 2 years and it was a good site. I'm trying not to fall out with the landlord but he just doesn't understand....

dont move thes site, the manager isnt really too concerned with competition between suppliers they are just interested in there takings unfortunately.

again I agree but we would all get along a lot better if Snack A Can / tubz vending / Hurleys and everyone else just realise they are not doing anyone any favours, I have had long discussions with Barbara and I know some of you on here dont like her or Snack A Can but I get on ok with her and I do like the Snack A Can products but that is my preference I have a lot of sites which really do very well and this was one of them now it's a waste of time, some times I wish I could put Barbara and Simon in a room, lock the door and tell them, right you two are not getting out until you sort this out!!!! the only people who are suffering here are us, the people who make this industry work for the suppliers, we are caught in the middle and I don't like it, what would happen to them if we all buggered off and went and did something else? Ok it's not going to happen, but hypothetically they would have to co-operate to some extent..... just my thoughts....

What we try and push for the forum members is agree to non poaching, its not much but its a step in the right direction. Obviously theres nothing written in stone but Im sure most of the regular posters wouldnt actively do it and to be fair I dont know of any instances where it has happens. Kind of a gentlemans agreement. Regarding suppliers reaching an agreement then thats a different matter.

We are always ready to listen to suggestions to help the forum grow.
