Hi All. Thank God for CCTV. We had three machines stolen over the weekend, both pub sites. Site one, two women walked in and picked up a sweet tower and pringles machine. Landlord recognised them, phoned them and they returned our machines. Site two, fella once again just picked it up and walked out with it. Landlord phoned him and said, return it,or pay for £300, or its the police? This nice chap had smashed it up for the sweets and money, all of five pounds! Yesterday morn he walked into the pub with my £300. In both cases they said sorry they were drunk.. :toss: Regards Al.

All my sites are chained to the stand - nothing more than a deterrant though, you could easily steal if you want to. I had 2 machines stolen last year caught on CCTV. The offenders went to court and I was awarded compensation of around £300

Not had a blooming penny yet though!

If you won court case, you then need to follow that up with a enforcement order . You get forms from internet or from court.

They can do a few things, get bailiffs to go into house, they can look at an attatchment of earnings or freeze bank acounts to see if money can be paid from there.

I think it costs in about £100.
