I have a tower locked in a pub, phoned estate agents dealing with it and they contacted the owners who said i need to show proof i own it, so emailed following:
cover letter stating i own the tower
receipt of route i bought couple of years ago
copy of invoice from cash collection done on site
Also told them theres a sticker on machine with my contact details on. now had email back saying they want a serial n.o or a lease agreement with serial n.o on. wtf told them if i havent got it by end of this week im reporting it as stolen.

Re: bit of advice
Complete tossers. Advise them that you have spoken to the Police and the property is rightfully yours. Advise that the Police officers agreed to attend to allow you to get your property back (to prevent a breach of the peace) however you would like to do this in a civil manner. Give them 7 days and then advise that you will be charging a rental whilst they retain the machine (to include loss of earnings of £3 a day £21 a week which is the going lease rate........................
Worth a go?
Oh you could always say the serial number is M81?

Re: bit of advice
Ade,
To only way to get your machine back is to do as they ask and provide proof of ownership (forget anything else, an invoice ticks the box). Present them with an invoice showing that you purchased the machine. (since no serial nos are not shown on the invoice any invoice will do!) This has happened to me a few times and I've never been refused. On one occasion with Cristian from atn we had to pay baliffs £120 each before they would let us in but we sis recover 5ks worth of kit completely undamaged. I recovered also recovered £500 cash! So the baliffs do so a good job.

Re: bit of advice
Who are you intouch with estate agents or owners? Don't go through any third party. Deal direct if you can or at least through the security company/baliffs managing the property.
