Re: Hot Nuts
Not sure Steve?
I think at £1000 per machine, I would not have the cashflow to invest into the product but if Cleneport or Zenjet were asked if they could produce a similar machine at a reasonable price so that ROI would be within 6 months then I could roll them out
Is it worth contacting them as a group asking what they could come up with?
As for the stock to go inside, I don't think this will be a problem as there are hundreds of nut production companies out there

Re: Hot Nuts
Ross,
I don't see the point.....£1000 for a monster machine selling loose peanuts & cashews only. say you did a deal for half price £500, it's still the same uneconomic proposition. We all know that the market is for confectionary for kids. thats certainly where I make my money. we've got towers for £100 offering 9 varieties. I have some pubs in central London which still do a good trade in nuts and I still offer 7/8 varieties all vacuum packed in hygenic tins. As far as sales figures are concerned, we've been here before, 20-25 sales per week is what we were told to expect by various suppliers. The reality is 40 a month, why should we expect anything different? This blows apart the ROI expectations.

Re: Hot Nuts
Ross,
I spoke to Chris who is selling the round, he assures me his sales figures are correct. All his sites require visits either weekly or two weekly. The high throughput means his stock is always fresh. Margins are better than we make on towers. He imports his own machines from China. His asking price for the business reflects his costs. full supplier details woukd be supplied as part of the sale. His business has been running for 3 months so I think there may be still in their honeymoon period.

Re: Hot Nuts
Hello,
My name is Chris Reeves and I've been involved with HOTNUTS Vending since 2006. I started the business in New Zealand, ran it for 4 years then sold it on. I followed my girlfriend to London with the intentions of maybe starting up a similar business here. After viewing and talking with many pubs there was definatly a gap in the market. I bought 20 machines and had them placed in West London pubs within a few weeks of receiving them. These machines are preforming well and have proven to be extremely profitable.
My intentions were to develop this business into a fulltime operation (150/200) machines but I did not receive my Visa I applied for which leaves me no choice but to sell my Vending round (19 machines)
I can provide machines at a cost of £929.00 per unit and the minimum purchase is 20 units. Going off current profits of my 19 machines, the machines will pay themselves off within 18months.
This is a very real opportunity waiting to be explored to its full potential. Please see below my vending round for sale advert , if you'd like to view a machine, purchase new machines or have any questions please give me a call, Cheers, Chris 07429501872
Profitable Vending run for sale West London, 19 Self Automated Hotnuts Vending machines all which are currently sited in busy pubs. Either run as is or grow this into a full time venture. This was my intention but my Entrepeneur Visa was not approved and I must return back to my home country, hence the low sale price.
I placed these machines within 2 weeks of receiving them, the pubs love them as they deliver generous warm cups of fresh nuts. The machines are fully self automated so can sit away from the bar top.
T/o is steady and in continuous growth, currently over £1900 per month.
Profit after cost of nuts/cups/pubs commission currently over £1100 per month.
This vending run takes me 1.5 days per week to manage. It's priced to sell at £18k, see 100% return on your investment within 18 months. Selling all 19 machines together, please don't ask to buy individual machines. Thanks, Kind Regards, Chris 07429501872

December 2012 =£1,817
January 2013 = £1,482
Febuary 2013 = 1,824
March 2013 = 1,944

Re: Hot Nuts
No operating costs.....can't be walking round with them on your back! Also machine is not exclusive to you, you have no contracts with the pubs and the machines have been and gone...see Sahara Nuts

Re: Hot Nuts
This is nothing like Sahara Nuts, not even close! Might want to get your facts straight before making those kind of remarks Dorset Vending.

Re: Hot Nuts
So please explain the variance as the link doesn't load .........and please explain some facts for me......
What is the geographical spread of the machines?
What are your fuel costs in servicing the machines? Bearing in mind you have minimum of 2 visits per month
As they are produced in China, what is the lead time for spare parts and who can deal with breakdowns in the UK?
These questions are pitched in good faith as no-one should buy any business without asking for more information than just turnover figures. Turnover is vanity, profit is sanity!
As a rider I have no affiliation with Sahara Nuts, they have been a bit of a pain to be fair; but as others have stated they have gradually disappeared.

Re: Hot Nuts
The machines are located in NW, West London. Kilburn, Chiswick, Brentford and Isleworth..
Fuel costs per month approx £60
I hold the spare parts, However, in the unlikely case, lead time from China is 10days.
These are extremely basic machines and any malfunctions can be handled with ease. Full training would be givin during Takeover.
Any further details please call 07429501872, Cheers, Chris

Re: Hot Nuts
I have emailed the manufactuerers in China www.lonpen.com
They will provide a minimum order of 20 machines (the twin nuts dispenser model HN-VM02) at $980 and shipping of $250 with my maths that makes roughly £655 a machine delivered. They can provide a vinyl wrap but state it is better to that you get your own done.
For info only
