How do people go about varying sites for machines.
For Instance:
Towers: Pubs, Clubs, Soft Plays, Sports Clubs, Youth Centres
Bulks: Hair Dressers, Corner Shops, Cafe's,
Or do people not have set site types for certain machines??

Re: Site Types
I think it depends on what suits each site......you may have 2 family pubs.....one with large function room or decent floor space.....the other which has a lot of space already taken. The first could cope with a large bouly and tower whereas he first would cope with a few bulks on wall brackets.
Also worth thinking about the type of area. Is it poor or relatively affluent. This can have a bearing on whether you go for 20p vends or £1 vends. Having said that some of my best sites are in rough pubs where the parents aren't very careful with their money .
Ultimately siting can be pretty arduous, keep plugging away

Good advise from Gavin there!
He is totally right about affluent area as even if you manage to place a machine in a upmarket joint they tend to be stuck somewhere out of the way as they look "tacky and fairground like" and don't fit in with the posh décor!
Placement is the Key with towers, give me a rough and ready placement any day as its the less well off who tend to waste there money on sweets snacks and takeaways!
In this Business, you don't make money out of ppl with money as they normally tight as a ducks ****, that's how they got the money in the first place, they enjoy counting it, not spending it!!

Re: Site Types
I have been siting loads of towers in businesses/offices lately. Some are good some crap, taking some out quite quickly but some are doing 20/30pm and get a visit every two months. The odd one is doing 50 plus per month and these I am then adding a Pringles into commission and charity free. These sites are all within 10 miles of home cos of Pringles. It seems to be working for me.
