I would agree completely!!
I have had 12 old black clenport machines for about 2 years now and I have only had one of them break, which had a tubz vending tub jammed in it, and I ended up cross threading the centre locking nut trying to get it off (so probably more my fault than the machine).

Clenports have a two piece centre rod. on the inside of the back plate there is a centre line bisecting the criss cross pattern. All newer models have a single piece barrell (this reduces jamming even further).

Hi, Ihave just come across this post.

Does anyone know what type of tower tubz vending are selling these days.

Over the past year I have had no fewer than 15 mechs break, all bought from tubz vending. I have over 50 older Towers and have encountered no problems with any of these.

Are tubz vending selling the Chinese rubbish now?

tubz vending supply both Chinease and clenports, if you don't ask for clenports you will probably get Chinese machines.
They are the same price so I will always ask for clenports

I now try and only purchase Clenports from tubz vending they are good and work well.

Had 10 Clenports of Hurleys and had broken mechanism's on all of them!

And that is a FACT!

If you are buying new you are probably better off getting in contact with clenport and getting a pallet yourselves. As well as the cut the wholesaler is taking you are also paying for two lots of transporting.
