Desperate for Help please

Post by Wendy »

Hello  My name is Wendy. I live in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. I purchased a franchise from tubz vending vending. The machines are sweets. I have had ten machines since February 2015 and still have six machines waiting to be sited. tubz vending own site finders have given me very poor sites. When I say 'Poor' I mean up to £4 a month so I have had to take them out because it was costing me more to go to the sites to check the machines. I am desperate to try to gain some sort of money back and get the tubz vending machines sited. Does anyone know of a site finder that I would be able to use please?
I have made several visits to places and tried to get the machines in, but without joy.
I think I must be doing something wrong.
Any help would be great and really appreciated. You all sound very professional and successful .
I am beginning to wonder if I could be successful with my machines.
Thank you for your time.

Kindess regards Wendyx

Dear Wendy,

It really saddens me to read this, you bought in good faith some time ago and now find yourself at wits end.

A good site finder is Barbara at siting services, you will find her details very quickly if you look through the top few posts in the introductions however, I am sure Barbara will contact you - she is very helpful, professional and should put you at ease.

It is unfortunate that we have very few suppliers as they could do with a little bit more competition to make them improve on services provided.

Barbara will charge £19.95 net per site, significantly cheaper and better than tubz vending.

I lived in Lincoln, Cherry Willingham to be exact, had a lovely Bungalow there when I was based at RAF Scampton.

This business is not easy, you need a significant amount of Towers to make it worthwhile - the figures banded online are pie in the sky and, probably relate to a fantastic site therefore deem all sites to be just like that. I have really good site however, for every really good site I must have at least 5 + very poor sites. I work on the basis of an average 25 sales every month throughout the year - most OPs tend to agree with what I suggest.

Have a look at my post in the general chat with the title start up costs.

If I lived in Lincoln I would come and give you a hand alas, I now live hundreds of miles from there!

I wish you really good luck & hope you get a better service than what is currently evident.

All the best Pablo

Hi,

Try Barbara on here, i thought it was expensive at £40 an hour but barbara has found me 2 great sites and one average one a few weeks back. I specified the type ofsite and postcode. The site finding will pay for itself over the next month i think

I feel for you Wendy, tubz vending are terrible. They use to be very good at one stage but now just focus on getting new customers on a franchise and feeding those people the biggest load of garbage in relation to sales. It is very difficult to find very good sites in a saturated market. I bought 10 machines a few months ago for a very cheap price from a disgruntled tubz vending franchisee who had exactly the same scenario, keep at it and in the meantime use Barbara for site finding, she will help you out. Good luck

Thank you Lee for your advice. I really appreciate it.
It sounds like I brought the wrong franchise, but I have to make it work. . I am going to see if Barbara can help me.
what a shame another person has sold their tubz vending machines.
I didn't realise how bad tubz vending were.
Thank you again for taking the time to help me.

Wendy, you arent the first to have similar problems from tubz vending. If you use Barbara for your site finding you will be much better off. Buy any more machines you need from Ebay or anyone on here and save yourself a fortune. It can be a good business but most of us make an expensive mistake at the start. Good luck!
