Hello Pablo. Thank you for your message. Sorry for the late reply to your message.
My manager at tubz vending is Paul. As I complain to him over the sites, he thinks I am terrible and I should just except what they tell me and go away. I originally brought the franchise for my son who has mild learning disabilities but very good at numbers etc. He has had some tough times and has just BEAT Cancer. This was my gift to him to help him start his own business. He has lost interest now because the machines were not sited and he has moved in with his girlfriend and needs a stable job. I do feel terrible and feel I have let him down, telling him he will be okay with the machines . I am now taking it on. I do feel out of my depth , but I am so grateful for your help and advice.
Thank you so much. I look forward to hearing from you :-)

Kindest regards Wendyxx

Hi Wendy,

Before I help we need some information to establish the facts:

1. What date did you order your 10 towers/sites
2. How many sites did tubz vending provide [exactly including the poor sites]
3. Did you pay in advance for siting of ten towers
4. How many towers do you have in boxes that have never been sited.
5. How many times have you contacted tubz vending to let them know they still owe you x sites
6. What was their response?

Hello Pablo
I have found the paperwork and the details are as follows.
I purchased the ten towers in the middle of February this year.
This is a list of what was put in on sites by tubze and what happened also some sites I just refused to have as they was going to fail from the start. Also was always told give them a months chance by paul and this happens its not our fault you was happy to put them in?
Account manager is Paul somerset

Machines removed by Site owners.
Woodland court. (Removed after three days )
Kuk sool won boston. (Owner ask for tower to be removed in first week)
bridge house training centre (was put in cuboard on day one ?)
Pirama cocktail dance bar (could not site as bar had been closed by trading standards)
Carpenters arms ( machine done over and broken stock stolen then manager asked for machine to be removed)

Machines removed by myself do to lack of use and not working.
Savannah equestrian (£7 a month)
Fen side community centre (£13 a month)
David hallgate opticians (£3.5 amonth)
Cola training services (£2 amonth)

Sited machines
Average prices
The stones pub (40 amounth)
Peter pyne sports centre.(£40 amonth)
Midgate east stables (£35 amonth)
White hart pub (£50 amonth)
Sheepgates equestrian (£16 amonth)
New England hotel (£ 7 amonth)
Merrimans Restaurant and Lounge (£13 amonth)

So we have seven machines sited at the moment and three still to get sited plus would like to site the two in red as they pull in a small amount.
Its just the way the team sell to the sites they tell lies and make out they are giving a machine away and the last site they tried to give us was a upmarket steakhouse seating 25 people are going there to pay £25 to £39 on a meal why would they spend £1 on Tubzs not a good place to put a tower but tubzs think its fine as they have done the 12 point check.
So its been a struggle with them all the way and weeks to get them sited.
What they say and what you get are not whats on the web or paperwork they send you.
False advertising in my eyes.

Kind regards Wendy

Hi Wendy

By the look of things tubz vending have given you 10 sites but some are just not performing as I have counted 18 sites there.

With siting, none of us who provide sites are able to predict performance and we all do our best to make sure we qualify the sites as best we can to give the operators the best chance of success.

One thing you have learnt and that is some sites work and some don't for whatever reason and it's not the fault of the site finder (unless of course they are siting machines in one man bands operating under the arches who are just open for two hours a week) as a lot of work goes into the acquisition of sites. Some of the sites that you have been given that have not performed look great to me and it would be no different if I were getting the sites, the same would happen to me. I get some cracking sites and I also get some that hardly perform at all and that's vending which we all accept. Thankfully, you have some great performing sites and you just need to get a few of them re-sited which can be sorted in a day, that's the beauty of running a vending business with compact vendors.

I hope the above helps you to understand why not all of your towers have performed, we all have the same happen to us and once you have a year under your belt in vending you really do accept is at that is the way it is and keep forging ahead to beat it.

Kind regards,

Wendy I don't see what the problem is? Why are you so against tubz vending? As Barbara says they've got you almost double the number of sites that you paid for - your account manager has obviously put in a lot of work.

I think it's a shame that your son lost interest in the business but that's how most businesses fail, the owner loses interest. This type of vending is hard work, you have to take some responsibility yourself and not blame someone in an office the other side of the country because as far as I can see you've got an average of nearly £30/m which will rise to £36/m once you've re-sited the others. Frankly that's pretty good for a newbie with no interest in the business - you have to take pride in what you're doing and constantly work at it.

You need a positive attitude and without being rude if you've got no experience of the business how would you know what sites are obviously going to fail? The account manager's job is to sell and keep you happy - if your busniess is growing you they can sell you more machines and more stock etc. I'm sure tubz vending will have tried their best to help you.

Everyone on the forum will wish you the best and If you're committed to the business shake yourself down and keep going because finding and keeping good sites is the whole life blood of the business and it's a job that you can never finish. If you're not able to commit time and energy then try to sell the spare machines and just run the sites you've got as pocket money.
