Paying Commission

Post by nivending »

The business I took over was based on 20% commission of the sales ie. 20 tubs sold £4 to the site.

This is fine if the site does 40 plus per month but imo really to much for the majority of sites.

For new sites I offer 10% or if I feel a good site 10% up to 30 sales and then 20% ofter that.

Any other options you'd recommend as working well?

Thanks

If the commission is going to be that low ie under £10 dont empty the tower. Aim to go when you think there will be £40 in it and maybe only empty it every other visit.

IMO 10% is too low for commission. There isnt enough value in it for the site and they will soon kick you out. I happily pay 20-25% to most of my pubs, social clubs and sports clubs. This encourages them to have more emachines.

If its not a revenue earning site ie not somewhere that is selling their own products. So offices, gymns, stables, barbers, garages etc then I want them on charity.
