Hi guys,
I have a potential site where there are two long abandoned Beaver machines. They are completely empty, and have been for literally years.
The landlord would like them removed - is drilling the only way, or are there any "generic" or common keys for Beavers?
If I go down the drilling route, is it simply a case of drilling down the middle until the lock falls apart?
Obviously as I will be at the pub, I want to make it a clean, quick job if possible so all advice appreciated!
Cheers, Mark

I would suggest you find someone local with a load of Beaver keys. Is there a key number on the barrell?

try this way, sometimes works. Flip out the flap. This gives a bit of play and you can often get the coin mech out with a decent screwdriver. Now use the screwdriver to manipulat ethe corners of the plastic housing and try and spin it anti clockwise. Easier if on as tand, difficult if tight to a wall. After a while it gets easier and easier and the lid pops off.

Thanks Andy, and thanks Glen!
It is tight to a wall so might be tricky, however the ever helpful Jay has offered to help with some spare keys, so fingers crossed that will do the trick!
Thanks again, Mark.
