Large family pubs are a winner but tend to have national contracts.

Independent pubs and Clubs are good too. Conservative/WMC/Constitutional etc

I havent had a lot of time but put 4 in in June Steve.

One opposite a primary school, single Tomy and a Superette. I put 50mm fidget spinners in it and sold 300 in a week! The superette has gone through 100 x 32mm bouncy balls every 3 weeks since its been there. After initial spurge im getting about 175 a month.
Another doube Tomy inside a convenience store, very rough estate been £200 every month.
Another on a high street but again inside done about £30 a month. Single Tomy.
Another Superette inside on another rough estate, £80 in August and another £75 last week. Im going to add or swap that for a Tomy.
They were all really easy to get in, the wife spent a couple of hours visited 7 got 4 in.
3 on 25%, one on 30%
Ive seen loads more I want to go at but just in the middle of a house move and 5 kids doesn't give me enough time!

I have had a lot of success with the Superette siting in the convenience stores. The Superettes are great as they can be sited outside and can take all sorts of weather. We started off our vending journey with toy machines and it's been a couple of decaces since they populated the streets. As with everything, the cycle has come back around and that market is ready for picking again.

Are the superettes still mostly 20p vend or are they up to 50p/ £1?

We holiday in a lovely wee village in Cornwall and it had one the superette machines.

My daughter was amazed by it and I couldn't actually believe the value, it was still on 20p vend and sold rings and bracelets etc that the shops would sell for 5 times the price.

She had more jewellery than Mr T by the end of our holiday :)

Yes they sell well but at 20p a vend the turnover isnt very high. Much better with a £1 vend machine or even both if they will take them.
