Thanks Ade, I have called the site and it's actually Triple A Taxis and there are two service numbers on there, none of which are known to the Jelly Bean Campaign. I have called them both and the first one has answered denying anything to do with the tower or vending and he wouldn't give me his name, the other phone number I cannot get an answer on. The site has been advised.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

haha yes.MickMcKay wrote:Remind me of an episode of cowboy builders.
This is not the first time nor will it be the last time. When something like this is brought to my attention I always act upon it as it covers me in the event if situations like this go to law or gets publicised. Until I get to speak to the individual whose number is the second one stuck on the tower, I don't know what the situation is, but I do know that their contact telephone number is not listed as an authorised supporter of the Jelly Bean Campaign and very worringley, where did they get our labels from?
Having a charity label on the vending machine is a legal statement and as such is regarded as a criminal offence if found to be misrepresenting or extracting monies by deception and all it takes is ONE idiot who carries on, gets reported to the Charities Commissioners for their actions who will spoil the whole reputation of the charity vending industry. I get many reports of sitings of our labels around the UK and if put in writing I will follow it through if I am unable to identify the individual.

Re: atherstone taxis
Hi Ade
The first number I called where the guy answered actually belonged to an individual who left the industry over 3 years ago (I got a tip off). Wonder why he didn't just say that when I called .... That still leaves the other number which at this moment in time I cannot get a match, but it will come out in the wash and let's not forget, it could still be legitimate so I can't cast aspersions until I find out for sure. Some operators do change mobile numbers and don't inform me.
Regards,
Barbara
