Unprofessional tubz vending Operator.
They are both The Vending Revolution. The Jelly Bean Campaign is what they call their 5% donation to charity (instead of commission) and Snack A Can is the brand they created for tower vendors (soon to be dropped for proper branded products).

no mate a sweet tower excactly like my oneCenturion wrote:Hi Chris. When you say jellybean campain, are you talking about a charity Beaver like vending machine Al.chris gibbs wrote:FlintVending wrote:Chris
This happens to me occasionally too and I do tolerate it, you have to respect the sites decision some times!
Just talk to the site and asked why they have allowed a second machine from another company?
More often than not the Snack A Can tower was authourised by someone who didnt have authority to agree it over the phone, sometimes they agree just to get them off the phone.
I had one site who had a Snack A Can machine plonked in there lobby and no one on site knew anything about it.
Snack A Can do not care where they put machines and who is already operating there cos what counts with them is getting the machines on site before some prospective customer changes there mind about the franchise!
Hi Nigel how goes it with you? Do you know if the Jelly bean Campain is anything to do with snack a can it's the first I have heard of it

Bull **** Kris. U personally use PM for trying to keep stuff out of the public eye ....especially when you know you are wrong and your back is against the wall. I now have a tubz vending machine next to my Snack a Can Machine in a Pub in Perth.Centurion wrote:I would just like to say thank you, to the unprofessional tubz vending operator that put their tower machine right next to mine in the Palms Hotel on the A127 in Upminster, Essex Just to let you know, that site has taken £25 in five weeks, thats a tower & pringles machine. Hope it was worth it.
I have had the site for nearly two years and it's not on Charity Commission I give commission to the Publican as I now do with all the pubs on my round. I have done this with Barbara's blessing.
When I spoke to the site owner about the tubz vending machine it was his understanding that they were both of the same business, ie part of MY empire. It doesn't matter a toss what he was told on the phone by the tubz vending people or what the tubz vending Operator told him, what matters is his understanding that he has been left with!
If I went into a pub with the intention of installing a machine and they already had a competitors machine I would do an about turn and walk out. There is enough Pubs/Clubs/ Sites for two people in a town, why of all the sites does he plonk it right next to mine?
My machine on it's own averaged £45 per month, I was there today for the 2nd time since the tubz vending machine turned up Average now - £13 !!!!!!!!

Re: Unprofessional tubz vending Operator.
Poaching sites is bad in anyones books but I dont think theres any way in this world tubz vending & snack a can would agree not to try and pinch sites from each other. What happens to the operator if they refuse to site as theres a competitor there? I bet they dont get a free resite!!!Jimmy1361 wrote:I now have a tubz vending machine next to my Snack a Can Machine in a Pub in Perth.Centurion wrote:I would just like to say thank you, to the unprofessional tubz vending operator that put their tower machine right next to mine in the Palms Hotel on the A127 in Upminster, Essex Just to let you know, that site has taken £25 in five weeks, thats a tower & pringles machine. Snack A Can actively pursue anyone's sites I have had so many put in comission sites. Quick word with the landlord and the machines are generally out of there. Real bad practice but you wouldn't expect anything less from Snack A Can.

to be fair all the suppliers are gonna target each other same as any other business. Its just a shame that its the operators that have to deal with the problems that arise.
