Re: software help
You want something like Venderbase but geared towards your Big multi priced vending machines.
If you know a little MSAccess you could whip up a database.

Re: software help
MSAccess creates databases. It's what Venderbase is built on.
It'll calculate whatever you want it to, as long as your data is stored correctly.
If you don't know anything about databases, you'll have no chance sorry.

Re: software help
Matt,
I use Excel for all financial information. It will do what you are asking if set up correctly. If you want fully automated VAT etc returns use Sage. You could setup your purchase daybook & sales daybook in Excel, then post to Sage on a monthly basis. I'm not VAT registered and am a sole trader, therefore I have a very simple operation, so I do my whole accounting within excel includuing sales, purchases, comission paid, gross profit, profit & loss & net profit. I use a separate spreadsheet for each area and each product group snacks toys & Pringles, each site has a worksheet. each spreadsheet has a summary sheet for upto 60 sites giving me total sales for each site, total sales for the month & year. All totals are carried forward to a separate summary sheet for each area. then I have a final spreadsheet and with a single screen view or year to date figures. So provided data is inputted correctly on each site worksheet you can go immediately to the final summary sheet to show where you stand YTD. Saves me a fortune in accountancy fees. I don't record how many of what tins I sell or manage site visits/performances etc you need Venderbase for that.

Re: software help
Matt,
I don't know if Sage will automatically calculate commissions. Sage is for accounting (what are you using for accounting at the moment?). For management information you could use spreadsheets as mentioned or as Daz says MSACCESS/Venderbase but all these programs need setting up correctly in the first place.
