Xmas promotion

Post by popp665 »

Just an idea I had that seems to work quite well....

I got hold of a load of "me to you" bubble bath sets for 50p each, put a "winning ticket" in some tubz vending and advertised the fact on the machine (put one tub in each machine with a ticket in), left the set behind the bar at the pub and if you buy the tub with the winning ticket in you claim the prize.

So far seems to have increased sales quite a bit, worth considering for others maybe?

I dont get it? Surely they can see the pot with the ticket in and just buy that when it gets to the bottom? Or am I once again being stupid?

No its stuck under the lid so the stickers round the edge conceal it.

Well not a huge amount but enough to be worthwhile, I think it grabs a bit of attention to the machine and ive used the me 2 you logo which is a good people grabber (although not sure of the legality of doing this!)
I was lucky to be able to get hold of them dirt cheap through my main job so definatley worth the while for me and a nice xmas present for my customers!

It's a great idea for operators to run as a promotion, but I wouldn't buy from a supplier offering it as promotion. The last thing I would want is customers requesting a particular brand because it is being promoted in that way.
