Hi all,

These are the current products that I sell, I have my views on the products so far, but limited in the fact of few sales to get a decent picture, what are your views on these and should I stick with them?

In no particular order:

Strawberry fizzy pencils
Skittles
Blue bon bons
Tutti fruit bottles
Cola bottles
Gourmet Jelly beans (the jelly bean factory ones)
Toblerone
Rolos
Maoam Mix
Sweet Mix
Mini Smarties

Was thinking about stocking, Haribo rhubarb & custard, choc' eggs, blue fizzy pencils and jelly babies - but I think it was Mark that not to bother with jelly babies.

It is a sin not to have chocolate eggs. Did tubz vending refer these products to you?
Mini pencils are good decent sellers as well.

You need choc eggs, they are in my top 3 along with Maoam Skittles and Smarities

I'm finding Maoam & Skittles good, but smarties are good in only 2 places, It seems because those sites have under 4's in. - Sweet mix is a bit the same. Strawberry Fizzy Pencils - are hit and miss too, some places good others 0. Bon bons good in most places except 1 that has not sold any.

You need Fizzy mix and Jelly mix, decent sellers and cheap. M&M's are really good in some sites. If you have adult sites its also worth having Salysol Cashews, very expensive but they sell.
You should also try to double up in your good sites with Pringles.
I cant believe they didnt give you mini eggs!

Yes it seems more and more I should of had mini eggs!

Any joy on the blue fizzy pencils?

Not tried the blue pencils yet although have a pallet of stock coming tomorrow with some samples to try, the blue bon bons certainly sell better than the mixed IMO

Assorted pencils and strawberry are both decent sellers and reasonably priced compared to premium brands

You seem to be working out for yourself what sells well, just keep track of the sales of each in those sites and you can't go wrong.

I stock 13/14 lines which I think is about enough, but I do like trying new things if I think it's worth it. Will be trying those blue bon bons that Hurley's do next month, as i'm told they are a good seller in the child friendly sites.
With regards to the 4 sites your owed from tubz vending, just be prepared to write them off and find them for yourself. Print a few flyers and go round all the pubs/clubs you know don't have one and you will probably be surprised at how easy it is to get your other 4 towers out. Now tubz vending have read this they will probably be really snotty with you on the phone, and I wouldn't be surprised if they pass your site details on to another franchisee for him to poach the 6 sites you got!!

Shame you've had a bad start to the industry, but just re-assess your position, make the right choices in future, and keep going...

I know what your are saying, but why would i want another 4 sites from them now, that are as bad as the existing ones, anyway. Good luck to them to poaching the bad sites I have. As for tracking what little sales i get I do log it on an excel sheet I did.
