heard today that Spirit pubs have been bought out by Greene King. Not sure if that will cause anyone problems?

I think most of the Spirit groups estate is branded chains on a national contract with Preform Marketing, they only have a few hundred leased premises.

Have they given you sites Pete in a particular area that they don't want or do you pay them royalties?

The Flaming Grill pub near me has Perform Marketing machines in, and has done for the last couple of years. I wonder if they give out regional contracts to different operators? Wouldn't mind getting on board with one of the large companies and sharing a region with somebody! (we can but dream)

Yes, London and yes, a small %. Was at one time, a few very good sites, excellent locations. Never grew the round big and has been eroded over the years though.
