Re: Vending Business for sale
Hi Barbara,
I know you do that and Ive nver had a problem with the sites Ive had from you. I think virtually every site Ive had from you has known what they were getting but if there has been resistance siting there has been no issue with replacements when they havent gone in. THats the attitude everyone should have, there plenty to go round.
Its going to happen where you arrive with a tower and there already one there but whats the point of having two?
Just sent you a pm Barbara.
Andy

Hi Andy,
I agree in that what's the point in doubling up. From a business point of view it doesn't stack up also it makes you a target to be treated in the same way, no one wins long term.
Hope you get the site sorted.

Re: Vending Business for sale
Matt, there is no mud-slinging going on except from Style!
It would appear he has a chip on his shoulder about tubz vending for whatever reason. I responded to this post with the shock of reading about tubz vending going under, this would be real bad for this line of business as two big suppliers keep costs down through competition. You asked someone to find out, I did this directly by asking and posted the response direct from tubz vending. In the meantime, if you read the post from Style he wanted to know how much I had been paid to post what I had posted. You cannot go around with a chip on your shoulder because of what has happened to an individual and tar everyone with the same brush.
Barbara is 100% spot on, it is up to the operator, I have had many site-finders and I do not blow a fuse if a tower is already in place. My policy is to never site when another tower is in place - even had a customer demand I put a tower in when a tower was already in place, I of course refused.
Style really has to grow a pair and understand it is not tubz vending who is siting the tower but an operator, it is up to the operator to inform tubz vending that a tower is already in place and I am sure tubz vending will provide another site as they did sometime ago when I had the same scenario.
To go around and call all franchises idiots is a little disrespectful and unprofessional, I thought the forum was a little bit better than that.

Re: Vending Business for sale
Pablo,
To call someone a Moron is a little disrespectful Pablo.
And as for tubz vending, I have challenged them on this to be told that yes it is their policy. My sites have been told such things as, "we work well together. "Why not see which products your customers prefer" "We can give you commission"
But you carry on throwing insults, it shows your caliber!!!!

Re: Vending Business for sale
Style I think you meant 'calibre'.
You are obviously an angry man who has a spat with anything 'tubz vending', a red mist seems to descend on you.
If you have a problem with an operator that is the area you should be channelling you anger and not every tubz vending franchise, you tarred everyone with the same brush and, indicated that perhaps I had accepted a bung.
I do not have a problem with tubz vending. I am sure that if they put a tower next to one of mine they would move it if asked. You have probably gone at it like a bull to a red flag - a bit like you have done with this post.
Looking at the number of posts you have submitted and your start-up you must have over 300 sites, I do not think one site is going to break your bank.
I have posted a rule for newbies to read, perhaps after that they just might heed and show some respect, failing that, a pm from Matt to the offender suggesting we cannot tolerate that from operators might do the trick.
Now going back to the post, you threw a torrent of abuse that was not warranted and had nothing to do with the post. If you want to have a post that is all about bad practice well post one! My post was on track.

Well said Pablo.
From reading your posts it is obvious you only try to help others.
Again well done

Re: Vending Business for sale
Some of these posts give newcomers to the business
A really poor impression of the trade.
When starting with tubz vending I was told you never site a
Machine if site already has tower. You class as a non install
And they find you alternative site.
Why some operators ignore this is beyond me.
Style
I understand you're frustration with the situation
But do think the blame lies with an individual
Operator and not a whole company.
Hope you resolve the problem quickly

Re: Vending Business for sale
Pablo, you are wrong unfortunately. tubz vending will re-site a tower for you because you run their stock. They wont re-site for me because I run Hurleys stock. Ive had conversations with them that have been very polite (you read me wrong there) and that is how they want to run their business.
I came very close to trying their stock earlier this year but past experience of their siting is the one thing that ultimately stopped me. So who loses there?
Nigel is right on the other thread though, its not worth getting worked up about. Its Karma. It is just one new franchisee who has paid to much, will in all likelyhood fold in a year/18 months time and I will pick up his machines and sites for a song!

I deleted a post from a member who had only posted once.
And we seem to have gone off topic a bit.
Anyone asked for details from business for sale ?

Re: Vending Business for sale
I enquired about the business last week, surprisingly, had no response.
