none vending towers
This is quiet bizare really the last 3 weeks i have had a few complaints about mini cans not vending. When the money has gone in and the mech is turned the product is not dropping. Very rarely has this happened to me before but it just increased quiet a bit.
All machines are up to spec with the correct parts but i would appreciate feedback
i beleve it is mainly the slighly wider tubz vending pots (I use both tubz vending and hurleys) and the chinese machines that are the culprit. I have ordered and taken delivery of some brand new dimple black locators or dimple rings as i think the problem is down to this parts wear and tare.
any thoughts
Regards Brian

Re: none vending towers
I took one from site last week with the same complaint. I chucked the machine in the garage and thought it was a mech problem with the mech bar not reaching into the barrel correctly but not sure now?

Re: none vending towers
Not had this myself Brian and I am exclusively hurleys at the moment.
I would hazard a guess its pots catching somehow as opposed to machine problem?
Will re post on this thread if I get the problem.

Re: none vending towers
i get this a lot, i think its a combination of chinese towers and tubz vending pots. i just leave a fiver float with the site to compensate any customers that lose out, and tell them that sometimes the kids dont line up the machine correctly. drooping barrel and worn out dimple ring definitely seems to contribute because the tubz vending pots aren't as tall as the hurleys ones.

Re: none vending towers
i beleve i have got it sorted now. new dimple rings definately help the machine become more responsive . ie when turning the machine clicks into place rather than sliding into place. have also put an extra washer under the lid locator. my next thing i am going to try is file an couple of mill from the right side of the base of the machine were the tub drops into the barrel.
i have purchased a box of goodys from tubz vending dimple rings, new barrels, locks etc. as an ageing friend of mine once said ' i go to more funerals now, when i was younger used to go to more weddings' i am staring to think the same was about my chinese towers lol
regards Brian

Re: none vending towers
I had the problem with the pots jamming from midland vending (plastic ones from portugual). It's because they are too wide at the top. Chinese towers. Solution is to put them in upside down. Not sure if this is the same problem or not.

Re: none vending towers
I'ved never ever replace a dimple ring in any of my towers. Like Brian, I've increased tension by inserting washers. In extreme cases I've shortened the central rod by cutting a few mm from the base of the rod. on Chinese machines, first cut the rod in two where it emerges from the base. By doing this you get a very firm and correct alingment.

IM a dimple ring convert, found one very worn last week. Tried extra washers, no joy, Swapped it and superb results.
