Hi all.

Has anyone ever tried ice cream vending machines?

I have a new site looking for a Ben and Jerry's machine but seriously struggling to find one.

Do they make any money?

Yes make money, but site has to be MASSIVE!! virgin media used to do ice cream vendors but were on free vend.

i had a few machines in university buildings ....seen a couple of these ben + jerry ice cream machines there and apparenltly they sold out often and got heavy usage. but you need a huge site with right demographic.

It's student halls with 200 people staying there. They also have a cinema room which may help.

Where can you get a second hand one?

Best port of call would be to contact the ice cream manufacturers, I'm sure they could help. I do seem to remember they were very expensive, possibly a zannusi machine?

Tried loads of places including B&J and walls but no luck.

There is quite a few in Glasgow so might need to get a company's number and ask them where they got it!
