I have no experience in drinks vending machines so I have read through some old posts in this forum but still need some advice if possible.
I have been asked by a sports centre site where I have towers if I can supply a hot drinks vending machine, the manager said parents kept asking if they could provide any hot drinks while watching their kids play football. After reading through previous posts I gather it may not really be worth trying to operate one machine but I would like to help them out if I can even if there's not a lot of money in it, so have a few questions:
I don't think it would get used a huge amount (but it might do ok) and also have limited storage space if I ever had to remove it so is there a smaller type of machine that is coin operated but could still be secured somehow (maybe like the type Morrisons have in their cafeterias but that takes coins)?
Do they all realistically have to be plumbed in, could I run one from a tap with the right pipe/connection?
I would obviously prefer to supply good quality drinks but there's no cafe or competition on site or anywhere near so really the priority is something providing hot drinks that is less complicated to maintain and cheaper to buy (I realise with no training I won't be able to fix major electrical issues).
The more I think about it the more I think this isn't going to be worth the hassle but all advice appreciated
