Re: banking
I opened a HSBC account purely because it had 18 months free banking, and then a following 12 months at a flat rate of £5 a month including the first £3000 a month of cash deposits.
Everyone else seems to charge around the 1% mark, although Santander do a business account with different fees that cover various amounts of cash deposits via the Post Office.
I’ve moved to Starling Bank for my general business account as it’s free of charges, they don’t offer cash deposits at the moment. I pay into HSBC and transfer it to starling as I’m walking out the Post Office :)

Re: banking
I'm with HSBC free banking for 18 months but its about to run out so I will probably change to another bank offering free business banking , seems like a lot of faffing about but I've been doing this for the last 8 years and never paid any charges yet.

Re: banking
I was with HSBC for a few years, Just swapped to Metro Bank. They charge .5% for cash deposits. Everything else is free providing you keep 5k balance in the account. Metro also do a free coin to notes service, just pour the coins in, flash your card to deposit into your account or take the receipt to the counter and exchange for notes, no account necessary.

Re: banking
My free HSBC Banking period is up next month.
Anyone else found a bank with low cash deposit charges?
If I can't find anything then i'll stick with Starling at 0.3%
