H4H still out there

Post by Guest »

There are 2 machines still covered with H4H stickers, flags in the window etc in 2 pubs I have towers in. Unfair competition would be putting it mildly.

Until Hurleys send the new stickers my towers will remain H4H

i have chased them twice but there is clearly no rush on their part

I agree. I have not seen any letter from H4H.

I believe H4H gave 1 months notice in a written letter to Hurleys to change signs.....operators beware you could easily get pulled up for false advertising if you dont comply

So long as you can prove that you are paying the commission generated, no one can really touch you. Have you had a contract to say you were part of the commercial agreements with suppliers. I have not. Have you had a letter from H4H telling you to take the stickers off. I have not. I will convert mine in my own good time and will continue to pay the money directly to H4H until I have them all changed over, or on a commission basis.

I have been told by Paul at hurley's that he will be sending out stickers for their new charity (childline) with my next order and have no reason to believe that he wont.
As for H4H, i have a couple of recently sited machines where i have been told by the landlord/lady that they only want the machine if the money is going to help for heroes. I have removed the stickers that hurleys supplied me from these machines and attached stickers i bought from the H4H website, i will make online donations from the commission and keep a record of the payments.
I'm sure H4H won't complain about the free cash!!!!

I (and others i've spoken to) also agree with this...

Is it just me or is anyone else finding it a bit insensitive removing H4H fundraising labels and swapping over to a children's charity after the awful terrorist attack on one of our soldiers last week? I wonder if H4H would give is a months extension on the deadline as I feel awful carrying out the conversion when all people want to support right now is H4H
