Minstrel self packing

Post by Guest »

Hi all, Happy New Year.

With the demise of tubz vending's Minstrels offering, does anyone know the ins and outs of Minstrels self packing?

1. Where to get stock

2. Where to get empty Mini-cans

3. How to go about printing the sell by date (and any other legal requirement) on the minicans

Kind regards

all you need is a sell by date, can do that with a standard price gun. you should register with your local council as a food packaging business though, this is very quick and easy in most parts of the country.

Minstrels are no longer available in bulk vending packs. You can still buy them in retail packs from Hancocks, no idea on costs though.

Has anyone tried the replacements that Hurleys are selling. Glisten Pebbles.

Also, has anyone run out of Minsrels yeat and if so, what effect has this had on your overall sales.

Thanks

I don't understand what you mean here. Hancocks buy them already packed.

All cash & carrys sell 42g bags of minstrels which fit nicly in a pot.
Only problem is they work out at 44p avg inc of vat.

I will probably do this when I eventually run out of boxed minstrels(46 left) to machines that sell out on a weekly basis.
My hope is that when i eventually run out something will be sorted.
