Re: Unprofessional tubz vending Operator.
May have got confused but Jimmy I thought you said you were never going to post on this forum again?
Regarding the poaching, it's just something your going to have to sort out yourself, do u know the name of the operator who installed their machine in your site
To be completely honest, if I see a snack a can machine, honesty box in a site I still try and get one of my machines in because I dont agree with the snack a can model and snack a can operators in my area always try and poach my site. However with tubz vending/sweetfix and hurleys operators we have a good understanding and don't poach each others sites.
Regards
Ross

Jimmy , it's called " being in business". Sh*t happens and you've got to deal with it. And what the suppliers are doing is called " competition". Sometimes it's not nice but that's the real world. It's dog eat dog and while some people are more unscrupulous than others, it's the natural order of things.
In my little world I believe I have Karma on my side and |think it works for everyone. If you treat people badly it will always come round and bite you in the ass 10 fold. If you treat people with manners and respect it will pay dividends. Live by this motto and the small stuff will take care of itself. And you will find if you live like this that you won't care if someone places a machine next to yours as it will soon be gone and everything returns to normal.

You have to rise above these things, no one is having ago at Jimmy or Snack A Can here (thank god), Its just business!
Im a great believer in Karma too!
Jimmy, you have to look at the positives in this situatio, not the negatives!
The tubz vending operator who put a machine next to yours is clearly not a vey good Business person and will therefore fail and if you make contact when it all falls out of bed, you will be able to pick it up for next to nothing thereby expanding your own enterprise for a LOT less than the prices Barbara Charges you!
You Have to think Positive in Business, Its only one tower, after all.
I share about a dozen sites, so what, I dont lose any sleep over it!

Re: Unprofessional tubz vending Operator.
Ok I have taken advice from Mods and have been told to post this,
this happened yesterday in one of my sites, a Charity commission site in Perth.
as I said before I turned all the Pubs in my round into Site commission a couple of months ago - except this one - the landlord was offered but he refused because they want the commission to go to CHAS (Childrens Hospice Appeal Scotland). They do a lot for CHAS in this pub so,
He received a phone call yesterday from someone claiming to be from Nestle who told him Nestle were getting involved in Tower Vending and to get rid of the Snack A Can Machine which only gives 5% to Charity- Take ours and we'll give you 20% Commission which you can give to charity or keep it yourself.
I know for a fact Nestle are NOT getting involved in Tower Vending, so who is this claiming to be Nestle, any offers?? are they here?? will you say anything??
The Publican has told me that he is keeping my machine and thats that.
No matter what you say Business is Business etc. This is very nasty if they are doing it here they will do it to all of you, it's misrepresentation it's not good business ethics. I believe I'm good at what I do, if I wasn't I'd go and do something else, landscape gardening or whatever, I am a very good networker, I have a good relationship with all my sites both charity and site commission sites, but no matter how bad things get I wouldn't stoop this low.
Comments welcome.
