General Sales Idea
Hi there,
I was wondering what you guys would say was good, very good, poor, shocking. Over the basis of a month, when it comes to tower vending, with sweets as stock?
Is 1-10 Shocking
10-20 Ok
20-30 Average
30-40 Good
40+ Very good
If there is a machine doing less than 10 sales per month, would you just take it out??
Kind Regards
Chris

You have it bang on Chris - with sites less than 10 always use these sites as a back up. If another site is doing really well they may be able to take 2 towers. Time to grab the poor performing machine. No need to remove it before you have another site.

Pointless removing them to sit in your garage, better to earn £10 a month than nothing but less than £20 - £30 a month I dont think the maths add up and I would be looking for a new site. Obviously do not remove until you have the site thoughBig Chris wrote:Hi there,

Re: General Sales Idea
Thanks Paul.
Do you think there a certain types of machines which offer a higher profitiablity or sales, then say Towers. As i have a couple of Breathalysers and just purchased a table football machine, as these are offering a service rather than a product, which wil give me a bigger profit from the takings.
Are there any other good types of machines or something that the more experienced guys prefer to use?
Kind Regards
Chris

Re: General Sales Idea
Hi Chris,
I think multiple machines can bring in higher sales, but in my oppinion, it has to be a site that has different customers each day /week. I have a club with several machines and the tower sales have dropped as there is a ceiling of spending. Therefore, I have several fully stocked machines which could be a drain when you are starting up.
Towers give you good profits and regular sales if sited well. I would start with a tower and offer the site other machines. I cant comment on the other machines, as I dont use them.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: General Sales Idea
Yeh i agree. I think in my own mind, it's crucial to grow the tower side of the business as you say it gives decent enough profits and more importantly the contacts to grow.
Something i need to look into with what your saying 'there is a ceiling of spending' as one one premises, i have 2 x towers, 1 x breathalyser and soon to be 1 x table football.
I am keen to try differant ideas, and some may be useless & some may work. I just think if you sell a product, you always have to buy the product in and therefore that costs money, if you are able to offer a service, yes usually the outlay is bigger, but the profit gained is much higher, if you see what i mean?
Cheers
