Hi,
I have a site which i have a sweet machine in, does well (parties and functions), toy machine is a no no as manager says "not sure it's worth it". Doesn'tmatter what i have tried he is having none of it.
Is it worth putting a line of toys into my machine? Or do people think it will just p*** him off? And also what work work as it would be a £1 vend in a sweet tower?
I was thinking of maybe some inflatables? Or possibly a mix, bag of haribo, bouncy ball & some other toy or sweet.
Just not sure, but know i am missing out from not having a toy machine in.
Thanks in advance for any ideas
Chris

Re: Site
Why not try the mixed pot with a ball etc and then explain what you have done, he will surely see his commision rise and agree?

Re: Site
Hi Chris I have been putting toys in my towers and they allways sell out anywhere where there are kids. They outsell any of my sweet lines by far.
I use 50mm puppy palz 2 capsules designed for one pound vend for tomy machines just drop them straight in a pot. Also use flashing glow balls .and also a 24mm bouncy pool ball with a small bag of haribo .

I think you'd make more money by having a separte toy machine. You'd then have much higher capacity, and you turnover would increase accordingly. One line selling out in a tower is only £9, two lines and you'd compromise your snack sales. Of course there is no way yould know untill you try it.

Re: Site
If i could get a toy machine in (which i am not holding my breathe, will speak again with him next week) what would people reccomend?
1. £1 or 20p?
2. A bouly or multi head tomy or discapa?
3. What selection of toys?
4. Do people still go with the same 20% comission for each machine or do they offer higher comission for multiple machines?
Cheers

Re: Site
I would put toys in one column the tower for a month and if they sell out, use it as a way to up sell the toy machine - If its a good site and it helps seal the deal then offer to up the % to 25% per machine as long as margins are still there.
